I started creating mosaics in late 2010 after attending a weekend course in the Cotswolds. My love with the medium grew until it became an obsession! Everywhere I looked I would imagine the item transformed into mosaic art.
I work mainly in ceramic and glass but love experimenting with other tesserae to see what I can achieve, using different textures, colours and reflections to develop a piece that is always unique. Most of my work is 2D but I also enjoy making 3D mosaics which present a different set of challenges.
Making mosaics is very therapeutic and I often spend hours in my Studio, enjoying all the different stages of the process to create something that I am happy with.
I am a member of The Vale of Evesham Art Society and have exhibited and sold mosaics at their annual Easter Exhibition.
I took part in Worcestershire Open Studios in 2019, opening my Studio in the Cotswolds, welcoming visitors from near and far.
I hope you enjoy looking at my mosaics, I have certainly enjoyed making them!
Many of my mosaics will be on display and for sale from my home studio during this three day event. Talented local artist and friend, Ricky Evans, will also be displaying a number of her paintings at my studio across the three days.
Open from 11:00 - 17:00 across the bank holiday weekend
